LA JAZZ MUSICIANS DONATE TIME AND TALENT TO RAISE MONEY
On Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 11AM to 7PM, 50 of LA’s top jazz musicians will donate time and talents for a day-long summer jazz fest “JAZZ TO THE MAX” to raise money for the family of beloved colleague and LA jazz-scene influencer, phenom vibraphonist, Nick Mancini.
Mancini’s son, Max was born in January with a severe heart defect (HLHS) requiring intense medical intervention including multiple surgeries during his first year. The day-long event, including a silent-auction, will be held at 250 W. State St. in the beautiful shaded backyard garden in Pasadena, CA.
There will be two combos performing every hour and we will be selling both hourly tickets and day long tickets. We will also be holding a silent auction and we will be selling food and beverages. The event will be in our beautiful backyard and we are hoping to raise between $5,000 and $15,000 to assist Nick and his family in their wellness journey with Max.
